What is Pellevé® Skin Tightening?

Pellevé® is a non-surgical wrinkle reduction treatment that uses radio frequency energy to contract the collagen in your skin while stimulating the production of new collagen. Collagen is important for a youthful appearance because it gives your skin strength and structure. As you get older, the amount of collagen in your skin decreases, and your skin starts to sag and develop wrinkles. Pellevé® requires no downtime, and your skin continues to improve for months after the treatment.

Pellevé® skin tightening has many advantages over similar anti-aging treatments. The machine that is used to remove wrinkles does not generate any direct heat. The radiofrequency energy from the Pellevé® machine gently warms the subdermal layer between the skin and fat. We apply a gel to your skin to help deliver the warming energy. The handpiece of the Pellevé® RF machine is placed against your skin with a gentle touch. No pressure or massaging is needed for the treatment to work. We treat the entire face and neck with the Pellevé® system. It is also good for tightening the skin on your chest. Pellevé® eye treatments help with puffiness and crow’s feet. For a more dramatic effect, we recommend using Pellevé® for your eyes and forehead. Address the earliest signs of aging by treating your jowls and neck with Pellevé®. Other signs of aging that can be reduced include smile lines and sagging in the mid-face region.

Recovery and Results of Pellevé® Skin Tightening

After your Pellevé® treatment, the skin may be slightly pink, and you may have some minor swelling for two to three hours. Pellevé® recovery requires no downtime. You can wear makeup and use your normal skincare products immediately after the treatment. We recommend that you use high-quality sunscreen while outdoors.
