A Brazilian buttock lift and fat transfer to the buttock is basically the same thing. The specialist typically first does the liposuction of the lower back, sides, and often abdomen to remove unwanted fat and harvest fat for transfer. The fat (to be transferred) is strained and purified (no blood or fluid) and injected deep into the gluteal area to give your buttocks a fuller look. The procedures does not make your buttocks bigger, it reshapes them.
The procedure typically lasts 1-2 hours (depends on the areas treated for lipo).
After surgery patients must wear supportive special garments and they need rest. Patients must avoid putting weight on their buttocks for couple of weeks and avoid strenuous physical activities. Patients usually return to work after two weeks.
&Not necessarily. Because of the liposuction of the lower back and sides, the patient first receives a great waist line, and lifted buttocks simply receive fuller, rounder, appealing appearance.
The ideal patient is someone who is in good and healthy shape, but has some extra fat deposits that need to be removed, providing necessary fat for transfer. Women who plan to undergo liposuction of abdomen, back, thigh, “muffin top,” are great candidates. These patients have extra fat in undesired areas, but usually have a flat butt. The procedure can naturally create those youthful and healthy curves.
The risks of the procedure are those of liposuction (as liposuction is ½ of the procedure), with the additional risks of some fat necrosis.
